The Nelson as we know it today was built on the traditional belief that a pub should be a haven, somewhere warm, welcoming and wholesome, a place to unwind in a classless environment.
This began 18 years ago under the guidance of John Illston and is a tradition that we intend to carry forward for as long as the "Nellie" remains in our family.
What a great year at the Nellie, we wish everybody a great and prosperous 2011 and we hope to see you all soon.
